I have an iMac with Snow Leopard 10.6.7.
I noticed that whenever time machine kicks in, I lose my internet connection.
Is there any way to stop this happening?

Hmm, Mufasa, I'm not sure what's causing that. Wonder if that could have something to do with the router you're using? Have your tried contacting the makers of your router to see what they say?
I also checked on the Apple Support page and saw that someone raised the same problem back in Jan. You should post the problem again and see if you get any responses.
